What is the
purpose of the Pathwork Lectures?
For many of us
the enfoldment of life can appear more like an effort in
endurance than an experience of joy. The Pathwork teachings came
into existence in order to address this struggle and liberate
individuals from the suffering that blocks genuine happiness and
fulfillment. It accomplishes this task by revealing the true
spiritual nature of our lives and thereby opening the door to
the divine that lives within.
It is a sacred
journey that does not gloss over those areas where we struggle
with fear, hopelessness, judgments or lack of trust. It seeks to
bring those very things to the surface so they can be
illuminated and transformed. The very nature of the human
condition is such that we are often more influenced by deeply
buried feelings within the sub-conscious than by our own heart’s
desires. This creates confusion, conflict, loneliness and leads
to negative outlooks or distorted views of life.
Through the
Pathwork process we learn to penetrate all of these layers by
studying the extraordinary depth of wisdom contained within the
Pathwork lectures. By doing so we discover that we are not
victims of a cruel world but wonderfully creative beings whose
birthright it is to experience all the joy, pleasure and love we
can sustain. To reach that beautiful place we are called on do
our work and face ourselves honestly without blame or excuse.
Together with others who hold a similar wish for themselves we
can create a safe container in order to shed our personal
illusions and finally step into reality.

Study Group
Description
Each month our
group will be studying one of the 250 Pathwork lectures. There
will be a short presentation of the lectures followed by a group
discussion. The Pathwork lectures were given by Eva Pierrakos
beginning in 1957 until Eva’s passing in 1979. Each of the
lectures investigates a different aspect of human spirituality
and the purpose of life, and is some of the most profound
writings to be found anywhere. This group will meet once a
month, on a Sunday from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. One of the 250 Pathwork
lectures will be assigned prior to each meeting which is
required reading for the study group. A donation of $5-$10 for
the use of the space is suggested. All lecture material can be

Pathwork is an
international organization represented in 16 countries. There
are several long established communities throughout the Untied
States which provide workshops, intensives and long term study
programs for the purpose of self-transformation. The Pathwork
lectures have also been incorporated into the curriculum of
organizations such as The Barbara Brennan School of Healing and
are used extensively by counselors and holistic-minded
therapists.
